Bryony: are you ever going to not send me Final Fantasy things?
Bryony: also
Bryony: why is it called Final Fantasy when they never stop putting out sequels?

BradOFarrell@gmail.com: Good question, Bryony, it's because Square Soft was bankrupt and the employees poured all of their personal savings and their hearts and souls into making Final Fantasy for the NES, thinking that if it didn't do well they were all going to be homeless or probably suicidal because it's Japan, and the game was so ridiculously over worked and advanced for it's time (likely due to their desperation!) that it was a huge smash hit and turned their failing company into an industry leader. If you want the PLOT reason it's because there is a book that's supposed to exist in real life called Gran Grimoire that can transform the entire universe into a new totally different universe, and those who spend their entire life seeking it call it the Final Fantasy. The book is only mentioned in one Final Fantasy game, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance but that game starts in the 'real world' (where they mention the Final Fantasy video game series and real life stuff) and when these kids come across the book it turns their world into a fantasy world based on a video game the kids had played, Final Fantasy XII, a game that would not even be released for several years after Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.
